Sandy Forgiveness: We Waive Sandy Auto Insurance Claims
As crazy as it sounds, some auto insurance companies will penalize you for submitting insurance claims due to Hurricane Sandy. They will add insult to injury by using your insurance claim as an excuse to charge you a higher rate. We just don’t think that’s right.
We’ve had the privilege of calling New Jersey our home for over 20 years. Like you, most of us lost power, many of us lost important possessions, and some of us lost everything. We’ve felt Sandy’s devastation firsthand, and we know the last thing New Jersey needs to worry about right now are increased rates because of Sandy-related car insurance claims.
We won’t factor any Sandy-related auto comprehensive claim into your rate. Period.
This is Sandy Forgiveness and this is the right thing to do.
Plymouth Rock is there for you before and after disaster strikes:
"…it’s great that you proactively reached out to all your customers before the hurricane even occurred."
-Kimberly N., Farmingdale, NJ
"My claims adjuster was great. He took the time to explain to me how the damage occurred and questions I should ask when I got it fixed. He made a bad experience pleasant."
-Emil M., Kinnelon, NJ
"WOW, thanks Plymouth Rock! I just stopped into the Mobile Claim Center in Lakewood, NJ. I submitted a homeowners claim related to Sandy, and received a settlement on the spot! Now we can schedule roof repairs ASAP!"
-Patricia M., Lakewood, NJ
