Plymouth Rock Assurance — Teachers’ Insurance Plan of NJ has partnered with Discovery Education to establish the Professional Growth Academy. Designed to promote the professional development of teachers throughout the state, the Academy utilizes a combination of online and in-person events to provide New Jersey educators with state-of-the-art training and content.
Free Webinar Series
These virtual seminars equip NJ educators with innovative tools to help students succeed. The sessions will provide a range of innovative strategies for utilizing web-based tools in the classroom, as well as useful integration tips for incorporating the Common Core state standards.

Days of Discovery
Teachers’ Insurance Preferred Partner school districts are eligible for competitively awarded daylong professional development seminars promising Discovery-style entertainment. Days of Discovery are available to all school district employees in the winning districts, which are determined by the most number of Teachers’ Insurance quote requests per number of district employees. Not sure if your district is eligible? Review the list of participating schools. If you don’t see your district, ask an administrator to complete a sign-up form for access to Days of Discovery and additional benefits like Insuring Our Future scholarships and grants!
