High Point Insurance Sponsors Annual JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes

- Employees embrace effort and raise $18,000 to support research efforts -

Red Bank, NJ - October 11, 2009: Over 140 employees, and friends and family members of employees of Red Bank, NJ insurer High Point Auto Insurance joined their President and this year's Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Monmouth County Chairperson, Jim Tignanelli, at the 25th annual JDRF Walk. High Point's commitment to the JDRF dates back years and is evidenced year-round through a number of company-sponsored initiatives.

"On a personal level, I find the work we do with the JDRF to be very rewarding. Corporately, year after year our employees look forward to this event. In addition to the turn out and donations for the JDRF Walk, High Point includes the JDRF as one of its selected charities under the True Service Pledge. The High Point True Service Pledge is part of the company's customer service program whereby the company commits to writing a set of service level promises. Customers who feel the company has fallen short of its pledge to provide excellent service are invited to take advantage of the pledge—the result is High Point making a donation to one of several selected charities.

High Point and its employees were able to raise in excess of $18,000 for this year's JDRF Walk. The company was represented by 10 individual Team Captains and an additional 143 walkers and event volunteers.
