WICKATUNK, MARLBORO TWP. N.J. - Collier Services announced that High Point, a New Jersey private passenger auto insurance company, is a new corporate contributor to Collier's 2005 Campership Campaign. Campaign funds will be used to pay for disadvantaged children in Monmouth County to attend Collier's Kateri Day Camp in Marlboro Township.
"At High Point, we believe in not only helping our customers with their insurance needs, but in being a good corporate neighbor," said President of High Point, Jim Tignanelli. "That's why we're proud to support Collier's Campership Campaign."
More than 400 children from low-income families will attend Kateri Day Camp this summer. According to Jackie St. Angel, Development Director of Collier Services, virtually all of the children will receive campership support. "These children would miss out on the fun of camp if it were not for organizations like High Point," she said.
Kateri Day Camp, founded in 1977, devotes its services to children from low-income families who live in Monmouth County. Activities that encourage respect for oneself, others and the natural world are the hallmark of the camp program. Kateri is a program of Collier Services, a social service agency that gives at-risk boys and girls a chance to grow to their potential through educational, recreational and residential programs.
